1. SAP system upgrade, OA system launch, eSUN strives for digital and informatization construction
SAP is the global technology leader and market leader in enterprise management software and solutions. eSUN started the SAP project in 2021 and completed the heavy upgrade of the SAP system in 2023. A perfect system construction helps build a highly integrated business management platform, improve eSUN's digital management level, and guarantee refined development. Subsequently, eSUN will continue to devote itself to digital transformation, promote business innovation and upgrade, and drive eSUN's high-quality development with digital power.
In addition, eSUN also officially launched the OA system recently. The OA office system is significant for achieving fast and efficient offices, optimal resource allocation, and unified administrative management.

2. iSUN3D foot orthosis customized application selected as a typical demonstration of additive manufacturing in the medical field by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology
On December 15, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Publicity of the List of Typical Application Scenarios of Additive Manufacturing in 2023", which included 42 professional applications in the fields of industry, medicine, culture, sports, construction, etc. Among them, the application of "customized manufacturing of foot orthoses based on cloud platform" developed by Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co., Ltd. and ESUN3D PRINTING CO., LTD. was successfully selected as a typical application in the field of additive manufacturing medical.
In March 2023, the first domestic group standard for 3D printed orthopedic insoles, "Additive Manufacturing Preparation of Orthopedic Insoles", drafted by ESUN3D PRINTING CO., LTD., a subsidiary of Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co., Ltd., was officially released.
3． Several biobased products of eSUN obtained international authoritative certifications
In May 2023, eSUN PLA fiber and non-woven fabric successfully passed the German DIN biodegradable certification.
In May 2023, eSUN lactate ester products passed the EU and UK reach certification.
In July 2023, eSUN PCL800C obtained the DIN CERTCO home compostable certification.
In addition, in September 2023, eSUN biodegradable hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive obtained the patent authorization.
4. The R&D project of biodegradable medical polymer materials achieved staged progress and innovative breakthroughs.
Materials for Implantable Devices" was led by eSUN and jointly carried out by Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the National High-performance Medical Apparatus and Instruments Innovation Center. The project plan period is three years, from January 2022 to December 2024. Up to now, the team has made progress in technology research, critical technical issues, core material indicators, etc., and achieved some breakthroughs in innovation. At the same time, it has obtained some related technical patents, and products such as polylactic acid, polycaprolactone, Poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide), PCL microspheres, PLLA microspheres, etc., have also passed the biocompatibility test.

5. The first international standard for 3D printing filaments, led by eSUN, was officially released.
In 2023, The first international standard for 3D printing filaments, ISO 5425:2023, titled "Specifications for use of poly(lactic acid) based filament in additive manufacturing applications,", led by eSUN, was officially released. PLA 3D printing filament is one of the most widely used materials in the global fused deposition modeling 3D printing technology. The publication of the standard will facilitate further standardization and promote the orderly and healthy development of global 3D printing technology.
6. Xiaogan Esun New Material Co., Ltd. was awarded the Chinese National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise in 2023
In December 2023, Xiaogan Esun New Material Co., Ltd. won the title of "National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise" by virtue of our outstanding advantages.

7. eSUN officially entered the field of 3D printing powder materials
In December 2023, Xiaogan Esun New Material Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as eSUN) officially signed a cooperation agreement with the State Key Laboratory of Materials Processing and Die & Mould Technology at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, along with relevant teams from Wuhan University of Technology. The collaboration concerns the "Additive Manufacturing Polylactic Acid (PLA) Powder Development" project.
As a laser sintering material, polylactic acid powder is safer and non-toxic than other petroleum-based powders during printing. If applied to casting, no smoke or toxic gas is generated during the process. The polylactic acid powder can meet the market demand for alternatives to petrochemical powder products, and its melting temperature is lower, which helps to reduce energy consumption and improve printing production efficiency.

8. Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co., Ltd. has officially completed the acquisition of controlling interest in HI-TECH CHANGJIANG PLA CO., LTD.
In December 2023, Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co., Ltd. completed the controlling acquisition of the original HI-TECH CHANGJIANG PLA CO., LTD. (now renamed as " EsunFiber (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. ") in December 2023, and established a green closed-loop industrial chain for the production of biodegradable fiber products, making PLA chemical recycling and melt direct spinning fiber a reality.
In 2023, the "Polylactic Acid Efficient Biosynthesis and Fiber Preparation and Application Technology" project, completed with the participation of Hi-Tech Fiber Group Corporation and Hi-Tech Changjiang, also received the first prize in the 2023 China Textile Industry Federation Science and Technology Progress Award.
9. eSUN doubled our production capacity of 3D printing filaments
In 2023, eSUN's factories in Xiaogan, Hubei, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, worked together to double the eSUN's production capacity of 3D printing filaments.
The popularity of fast printing increased the demand for 3D printing filaments. eSUN will also continue to strictly follow the 6S management principles, standardize operations, and continuously improve product quality while expanding production capacity to provide better products and services for global users.
10. Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co., Ltd. purchased a research and development building in Wuhan and continued to increase its R&D investment
In 2023, Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co., Ltd. (eSUN) purchased a research and development building in Wuhan, covering an area of nearly 5,000 square meters. In the future, it will become the Central China Technology Research and Development Center of eSUN and continue to devote research to the synthesis, modification, application, and recycling of biobased materials, further enhancing eSUN's innovation ability and core competitiveness and promoting the industrialization development of biobased materials.
Besides the above significant events, eSUN's exhibition footprint covers many countries in Eurasia, North America, Australia, and other regions in 2023. eSUN participated in 35 domestic and overseas exhibitions throughout the year, of which 19 were overseas. Extensive offline activities helped gain a deeper understanding of market demand and brought the "eSUN" brand to more people's attention.
2023 was a fruitful year. All the staff worked together and strived hard, and the eSUN's strength reached a new level while winning multiple awards and honors!

• In February, eSUN's joint research project won the second prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
• In February, eSUN won the Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Standard Award.
• In March, eSUN was awarded the "Top 100 Innovative SMEs in Shenzhen".
• In April, ESUN3D PRINTING CO., LTD. passed the Shenzhen Specialized and Innovative SMEs certification.
• In July, eSUN's PLA-coated paper won the Innovation Application Award of the New Leaf Award for Biobased Industry Innovation.
• In November, eSUN won two awards - the Industry Exhibition Chain Sharing Award and the Industry Contribution Award.
• In December, eSUN won the "Most Valuable Investment Enterprise on the New Third Board" and "Outstanding Entrepreneur on the New Third Board".
