Speaking of innovation, what would occurs to your mind? Yes, Silicon Valley. It is not only geographical location but an ideological trend. Silicon Valley is the earliest gathering place for hi-tech industries, entrepreneurs with the dream to “change the world” are continually creating the new technologies and business models, which induced many originative emeging industries and world-influential tech giants. Shenzhen moving towards to the Road of Innovation a little late, while its development speed attracted the attention of world, similarly, it is felt limitless promises. The Butterfly Effect of aggregation, convergence and innovation makes Shenzhen become the new land of innovation, startup of China, even the world.

 

Shenzhen has many similarities with Silicon Valley, both drives the upgrade of industries through constellation effect of enterprises. Shenzhen is far away from the political center,possessing open business environment and respecting the market. And eSUN headquartered at the hi-tech zone of Shenzhen, adhering to the mindset of “Open Innovation”, with which welcome various business opportunities and value the intellectual property of partners. Recently, the delegations of UNSW in Australia scheduled to revisit eSUN in 2018.

In the era of innovation, opportunities are everywhere. In recent years, the 3D printing industry at home and abroad has been benefited from the general trend of educational innovation and upgrading, and has ushered in new development opportunities. Many schools have established various projects around 3D printing related technologies. For example, in 2018, the 4th HIF Cloud Workshop hold by the University of New South Wales (College of Arts and Design) cooperated with Queensland University of Technology (Design College), Hong Kong City University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Tsinghua University and other famous universities.

 

Famous universities form HIF cloud workshop to continuously improve innovative education

The four consecutive HIF Cloud Workshop is funded by the Australian Federal Government  New Columbo Plan, sponsored by eSUN and other brands. The HIF Cloud Workshop utilises cutting-edge technology and innovative environment to empower students with creative thinking skills and abilities to inspire a new generation of creative thinkers. In the era of Smart Cities and the Internet of Things, the theme of the 2018 HIF Cloud Workshop was "Make Mobilities." People's lives are shifting from portable to wearable devices, so the workshop held a general discussion around wearable technology.

 

 

 

After the intensive seminar in August, members of the 4th HIF Cloud Workshop will be led by the professors of UNSW/Hong Kong City University/Hong Kong Polytechnic University to start a 20-day international immersive mobile experience study. In the coming days, members of HIF Cloud Workshop will arrive in Shenzhen. They plan to visit the maker space of eSUN on Dec 10th.

Till today, eSUN maker space has already been visited by lots of international makers include Italian Makers, Australian Student Workshop, Winner of American Product Design. eSUN and HIF Cloud Workshops also had collaborations before.

 

 

 

In Australia, the host place of the HIF Cloud Workshop, eSUN's sales volume is growing up steadily as the best-seller in 3d printing materials. Working with local well-known designer make eSUN’s influence increased in design circle of Australia over the years, and it has been able to establish long-term cooperation with HIF Cloud Workshop.

 

Members of the HIF Cloud Workshop will study eSUN's 3D printing materials development, products and technologies to develop students' innovative application capabilities.
