Brightchina is oriented in the bio-engineering field and expects to develop environment-friendly products by using renewable resources. The company is devoted to development of lactic acid and poly-lactic acid industry where the renewable plant resources can be used as raw materials, and the products include lactic acid and its derived lactates, lactic esters, poly-lactic acid, and other environment-friendly outputs. The company has jointly organized the “PKU-HKUST Shenzhen-Hongkong Institute – BrightChina Biological Macromolecular Material R&D Center” and “Wuhan University – BrightChina Biological Macromolecular Material R&D Center”, supported by related national key laboratories of Beijing University and Wuhan University, owns experts and scholars as well as post doctors, doctors, and masters from both at home and abroad, and has made a series of significant achievements.
